Did you have a stuffed friend when you were a kid?

I had my "Tee-you" bear when I was a kid. It was a ratty looking thing, missing one eye. Once, I left it outside, and it rained, but I wouldn't go to sleep without it. My dad had go out in the rain, with a flashlight to find it. Did you have a stuffed friend when you were a kid?

No I never had either a stuffed animal or doll I clung to.
My sister did have a Pippi Longstocking doll that she carried everywhere.

No, never had those kinds of toys. I was the kid always catching wild critters and making them into pets. It's a good thing they were no bears where I grew up or I would have tried to catch a young one so I could have a teddy bear.

I have a few pictures my mom gave me of when I was a toddler carrying things like that around, but I don't have any memory of having a special stuffed animal. When I was older, I sure did love my Barbie dolls but then my sister took a pen to my favorite Barbie's face so I didn't even have that. (Wonder if thinking about this more than 50 years later means that I never forgave her? )

Didn't when I was a kid but do now & hope to be able to have one when I'm in the nursing home (if I can keep it from getting stolen; the theft of the few items that patients in those places have is rampant I hear).

I always loved stuffed animals and still do. I didn't have one I had to take everywhere with me but I had them. I find it hard to resist a cute one at the thrift store. Especially if it's a cat or wild animal.

I didn't have any stuffed toys... barely had any toys tbh... but because of that, I made sure my daughter had all of them. She had teddies, and Care bears, and Panda bear, and dolls... galore..

Only a Raggedy Ann or Andy at the age of about 3. Only know from pictures. None after that.

I did! His name was Bernard and he sat next to me every school lunch time because he knew that there'd be leftovers - years later, I was on a train and Bernard sat next to me! He was a considerably slimmer Bernard, obviously missing the extra school dinners

Yes and I loved them so much my mom got me more. I had a teddy, bunny, doggie and more. I still have a little teddy but gave it to my dog to play with. She has lots of stuffed toys. I still have a bunny!

Us kids had each a large (Size of a 5 year old kid) teddy bear. Mine was brown)white, older sister red/white, youngest black/white.

I still have my Teddy bear, but I cannot say I've clung to him. Just keep him around as he's a part of the family now.

Andy Pandy, a panda bear that my uncle sent me from Japan when I was born. I mauled that thing until I was 5-ish, when it gave up the ghost.

I can't stand dolls and when our girls asked for cabbage patch dolls I was
so relieved. They didn't like the ones that looked too real.
When I was little I had a stuffed animal zoo: a giraffe, baby elephant, lion, squirrels and a few others I can't think of now.

Yes, I had one as a child and I have a stuffed tiger I rescued from a yard sale many years ago. The hostess had him sitting on top of a trash barrel and I felt his fate was almost sealed so I bought him for a dime and he's lived with me ever since. It's a good relationship. For a man, he never gives me a hard time.

I had stuffed animals as a kid, but my favorite was a toy dog I got for Christmas when I was 5 years old. I STILL have that toy to this day. I got attached to it for some reason and it was special to me. I used to sleep with it as a kid. Now it sits on my shelf.

When I was 4 years old, I was given a teddy bear for Christmas. I kept it until I got married.

Oh yes! I had “Brownie Bear,” a medium size stuffed bear who wore detachable overalls. Once I left him on top of a light, so he also sports a bandage on his head to cover the burned spot. I still have “Brownie Bear” in the back of my closet…don’t tell!
