Going through the attic today , I realized I still had my old "Phonograph" -- with about 25 albums next to it ! ( Kids now a days probably wouldn't even know what a phonograph was !) That's about all I saved . I wish I would have kept some of my old toys from when I was a kid . They're ANTIQUES now (like me) and worth alot of money !!!
 

I have:

A plaster V2 rocket souvenir I got from stop off at White Sands NM when I was 9

Across the Space Frontier, a book I got when I was about 14

A Rand McNally World Atlas dated 1950 that I pasted postage stamps in as a young teenage stamp collector

My Erector set

A Remington portable typewriter my folks bought for me when I took typing in the 9th grade

My first camera, a Kodak baby brownie I got when I was 11

My Boy Scout handbook, badges, and misc.

I have a Roy Rogers red and yellow scarf from my cowgirl days. Every time Roy was on, I would put on my cowgirl skirt, vest, hat and scarf. No gun. My mom wouldn't buy me one. I would put all the cushions from the couch on the piano bench,put a rope on each leg of the bench for reins and ride Trigger with Roy. Never Buttermilk that was Dale's horse.
 
Tabitia, I still have my Teddy Bear too! His name is Teddy. He's the only thing I have from my childhood besides a few 45's. When I was a little girl I was constantly correcting other kids that insisted on calling their Panda's a Teddy Bear. No, they did not have a Teddy Bear, they had a Panda. I had, and still do have, my Teddy Bear. He's also golden.
 
I have nothing. parents divorced and when they moved into the new "unit" what was not theirs was tossed.
 
I can't think of a single thing. I was the youngest of three boys, and by the time it got handed down to me it was pretty well used up.
 
I have a plastic little girl holding a dog that's about 5 inches tall that belonged to my little sister. I've kept that through the years. Now it sets on my computer desk and keeps an eye on me. :love_heart:
