Difficult to get businesses to follow the correct procedure

My Real Estate agent has changed the rent receival company and told me it was up to me to go to my bank to have the previous withdrawals stopped.
I went to my bank to do this. They assured me that there will be no more payments taken from my account.
You guessed it. Checking my account this morning, a payment they assured me would not occur, occurred.
Now I have to go back in there and go through the process again.
Do you have these sorts of issues with you business dealings?

Yes. It seems the major objective of clerks today is to get you out the door with as little effort/engagement as possible. They will give answers, solution promises, and lies.....anything that will get you out of their presence.

I will say that my credit union still provides courteous reliable service and when I moved my driver's and truck licenses last year I encountered the best DMV agent I've had in over 60 years of driving.
