Dish returns our news coverage

Today, after weeks of not being able to get to FOX NEWS, has been allowed to return to the public audience by Dish. It is happy to me that the FOX NEWS is once again allowed to be viewed on Dish. I was in the act of switching to a different service where I could access FOX NEWS. Approximately 30,000 former Dish subscribers have left and may never return. Unfortunate for Dish, and many more may still resign Dish, depending on how much higher the Dish rates may go now.

I know that some will say FOX NEWS is corrupt, or telling lies, or useless, but for those there are others that swear they want different viewpoints than just far left only news from some other outlets. I personally use NBC, ABC, CBS, and some FOX NEWS is an additional, more open viewpoint, that I find helpful. To have 30,000 pull out of Dish says a bit about how many feel about FOX NEWS different from our far left thinkers.

AZ Jim, glad to have it. I love facts and truth not twisted by ideology as some may prefer. If you are not a frequent listener of FOX NEWS you won't know what I am speaking of.

AZ Jim, what part of AZ do you live in. I am living in Casa Grande.

And do you also watch McNeil/Lehrer on PBS?
I'm "assuming" that you feel PBS is also "far left only news".
I am quite aware of the differences in Arizona politics, having lived there 23+ years.
Are you also a fan of "Sheriff" Arpaio?

You are pretty close but I don't often watch PBS as I am busy watching NBC and other stations. And I do think Arpaio is doing the area a good job by not putting up with jerks in his custody. Those folks are in jail for reasons and Arpaio is trying to make sure they realize it is not the best place to be so they may think twice about acting up in the future.

If you don't like FOX NEWS, then do not watch it. But then you will never know just how honest and truthful FOX NEWS can be. Did you know that some of FOX NEWS programs are much to the left and some are much to the right and some are good discussion programs that may go either left, down the middle, or to the right. There is a lot of variety in the way FOX NEWS gets presented. Which makes it a lot more interesting than some of the way left programs. FOX NEWS listening base keeps getting bigger while some other stations have been losing listeners. I try to spread my listening about when I can.
 
My home is in Surprise and if you are suggesting FOX news is honest, I have a bridge I know you'll just love. Meanwhile keep supporting what I consider to be the most extreme hate mongers on TV, yours and mine included.
 
Virtually ALL the cable news channels...Fox, MSNBC, CNN, NewsMax, etc., are rather biased in much of their coverage....especially where political matters are concerned. They all reflect the attitudes of their owners and major shareholders. Every one of them is dedicated to improving their Nielsen Ratings so they can charge more for their endless commercials. If a person Really wants the true picture on most topics, they have to listen to Both sides of the issue, then probably do some independent research on the Internet, etc., and then make up their Own Mind. Cable news is much like Washington...in that, like the politicians, cable news plays to its Base.
