I am very fortunate to be in a part of the country with many family owned pizzerias. One place close by called Houdini's Pizza Laboratory serves a wonderful dessert pizza. Basically it's their homemade pizza dough, baked in a brick over and covered with Nutella and fresh strawberries.

A real fruit pizza makes sense....not artificial ingredients... I'm thinking my brain is wired for the traditional pizza, I would not be happy biting in a salty, cake or garlic ice 🍨 cream...
 

My grandkids wanted pizza for breakfast. There was not enough leftover from the night before so I told them I would make a breakfast pizza. I used a Boboli pizza bread, slight amount of BBQ sauce, crumbled sausage, scrambled eggs and Cheddar cheese. It was a hit with them and was not bad but not good enough to do it again. A year later they wanted it again but I made it this time with butter, apples, brown sugar and cinnamon. Another hit, But no fruit loops.

Great saved by...No fruits loops, save by mom's improvising
 

Never had fruit loop or any of the. Kid cereals lucky charms, one reason grew up in Brasil they do not have any such fare....I did have my fill of mangos...
