Do you believe ignorance is bliss?

Would you rather be aware and cognizant or naive and unaware?
Personally I am very aware of what is happening around me and world affairs.
I could not imagine not keeping up with those things that affect all of us.

It depends.
With some things, ignorance truly is blissful.
I’ve no doubt that there are some things that you’d rather not be aware of but I don’t wish to discuss them on a public forum.

happens, so I'm going with nope, no bliss.

With the angry people in American politics, I sometimes I think about that. Then I realize, I have to know what hurtful ideas they are coming up with. So I can be prepared. Like when they talk about going after Social Security. I find it's better to be prepared.

I am aware of most things and at times would rather not be. Like animal abuse and killings.

I think strong, powerful thought, that helps the evolution of the soul does the greatest good for the thinker and for
improved harmony in all one's surroundings. It relieves one from mental bondage. It is so vital to the growth of
the soul. Right thought develops into right action, producing positive results.
Bliss comes with deeper and higher understandings. Ignorance makes the mind dull and placid., unaware.
Even if a soul is kept from the truth, there is always part of your subconscious which knows the truth of things.
