Do You buy clothes online?

I buy online, but generally only brands I know and from websites I know. I do buy shoes online, but again, the brand I know and the size I know will fit. My everyday shoe is a particular Nike running shoe and I can find them a lot cheaper online than in stores (if I can even FIND them in stores -- stores don't seem to carry much stock anymore, anyway). I hardly ever shop in brick and mortar stores nowdays.

Not much. I do buy accessories, but not too many articles of clothing. I do receive a lot of gifts from people who shop at L.L. Bean online and it's good quality, and lasts forever. They tend to run large so I have to get XS. But I do prefer brick and mortar stores or yard sales for my clothing.

Never...it's too much trouble to try 'em on.

Howevah, I buy all my books, videos, cd's, special tools, model railroad equipment, musical instruments, and other miscellaneous items from Amazon, the World's Largest Retailer!

Extra Small? You must be petite! I have a pair of slippers from L.L. Bean, and they refuse to show any wear, even though I wear them daily to work in a granite quarry.

Yes, I do. But typically from retailers where I am familiar with the sizing, like certain brands from Macy's or Kohl's. I also like a couple of brands from QVC, as well as LL Bean, J Jill, Chico's and Eddie Bauer.

I don't. I need to be able to try clothes on and I hate having to return things. The garments may be sized differently according to the manufacturer so I can't assume my size will fit.

Yes. It is my favorite way to shop. I have no desire to go to a mall:eek: I purchase from Lands End, LL Bean, Hanes, Amazon and of course Zappos for shoes and boots.

Yep. Have bought wool socks online. Bought polyester jeans online. Wrangler used to call them executive jeans when I was working and wore them regularly and most western stores carried them. Oh, I have bought numerous items from LL Bean.

Yeah, I get most everything online. I dress very simply now-a-days, usually sweat pants and T-shirts no matter what the weather is like.

I don't buy clothes online; I really need to try stuff on. I'm shaped like a jigsaw puzzle piece: some pieces that stick out there, some parts that dip in there. I'm long in the trunk and short in the legs.
I am shaped similarly. That's why I won't buy certain things to wear online any more. It's better to go to the store, I find.

Bought a pair of shoes, once

once

They looked so comfy, sittin' there on Amazon

$90
not expensive
not cheap

woulda sent 'em back to Amazon, but I tried to break 'em in for days
My buddy, down the path, likes 'em

No, But every few days I go into the morgue to see if anybody my size died.

I don't buy clothes online but that is a great money saving tip Falcon.......man oh man, is this a informative and helpful forum or what ?

My barber cuts hair and shaves folks at the local funeral homes on the side in the evenings prior to their 'viewing'......mine are starting to get a little raggedy so I'll ask him keep his eyes open for a good pair of lightly used size 14 Nike's for me.

Attention Morgue Shoppers!
Are you serious? Wouldn't the personal affects of the deceased including the clothing be the property of their estate? Isn't the morgue worker who is selling the clothing stealing from the heirs of the dead person? I hate to nit pick; but after googling "buying clothing from a morgue" this method of sartorial shopping appears to be only available in China.

I don't like to buy clothes online, but once in awhile I will. A couple months ago I bought a new raincoat from LLBean. It fits well and I really like it Sue

You missed the point "PD" ! I didn't think ANYBODY would take me seriously about

going to the morgue !!

lol

I've bought some nice clothes at estate sales... so that's similar.
