Do You Click On The Ads?

I sometimes do click on the ads here, keeps the forum going I think.

Two I have clicked on recently were the ones advertising St. Stephen, New Brunswick, really sounds like a great place to live and another just now showing a summer trailer.

Sometimes you don't know you are interested in something till you see the ad eh?

Nope! Never, Ever! I keep away from advertising as much as possible! At my age I got it all but if I don't I probably don't need it. Anyway, I don't need some young "big mouth" yelling or screaming at me to BUY, BUY, BUY. GET IT NOW! Then again, I don't like huge corporations trying to make everyone a consuming zombie!

No. I switch the advertisements off
I ‘think’ the site gets paid for the advertising to help support it regardless
Whether you see it or click on it, makes no difference

I seldom click on ads as some will reward you by showing you more of the same, assuming that you're interested. You don't want to build an advertising "profile," although most of us have one, just by virtue of where we visit online . We're inundated by ads, anyways...why feed the vultures?

I have noticed absolutely no spam coming from any of the ads I have visited. Actually I get so little spam mail that at times I feel deprived.

No. Not that much of a consumer anyway, so ads are generally of no interest, especially since I'm more interested in reviews if there is something I want or need.

Interesting idea, written there, in the original post on this thread, by @Lee

I wonder if @SeaBreeze could tell us, whether or not,
this forum site is more/better supported financially, if we were to click on the ads sometimes.

Ads? What ads?? I use ABP, and never get any ads. Occasionally, there is a news story I want to check out, that gets blocked by ABP, but it is quick and simple to enable the ads long enough to read the story....then back to "blocking".
