Do you dress "old"?

Do you dress "old'"? I'm not a clothes horse. Most of my clothes were bought when "Cheers" was first on TV. They are extremely stylish, well, for the 1990s. And I do wear white socks with black shoes, but that's because it's hard to find black socks that are as good, and last like white ones. Because of my spinal problems I can't wear a belt, so I have to use suspenders. And there's nothing that says "super stylish" like suspenders. I'm a walking geezer.
Do you dress "old"?

Yes. Style is in the eye of the buyer, in my opinion. Regular warm day ? Hawiian shirt, denim shorts, sneakers, woven straw hat, shades. Cold winter day? Levis winter parka, wool Timberland plaid shirt, GWG jeans, winter hiker boots, with a reflective heat insole inside of them, wool toque, and lined leather work gloves. Fancy event ? Made to measure suit, conservative cut, with a vest, contrasting dress shirt with french cuffs and links. Polished oxford style leather shoes in black or brown ( depending on the color of the suit ) with a tie that matches the shirt color.

Around the house, like right now ? A brown long sleeve sweater, with a grey T shirt under it, pajamas pants, sock and a pair of Mohawk made bedroom slippers. Nice and warm. And Carlos Santana on the ear buds. JImB.

My daughter commented that I NEVER CHANGE MY CLOTHES!! My "uniform" has been red t's/sweaters in autumn/winter; red short sleeves/sleeveless in spring/summer; blue or black jeans all year. Boring but I don't have to think about "what to wear"!! (Flash, the dog, doesn't care if I wear old, unco-ordinated clothes LOLOL)

I have no fashion sense.
Now at least we have sense enough to know that. Give yourself some credit. 😉

Blue jeans and a long sleeve outer shirt with pockets large enough for my wallet, phone and Kindle. I usually just change socks and under cloths each day except when the outer layer gets messy or ripe. Around the house I don’t wear anything when the season permits. When it gets as cold as it is now I’ll run around the house in heavy socks and long johns.

I think indifference is a privilege of geezerhood. My wife essentially does the same but looks classier doing it.
