A Quiet American
By that, I mean, do you ever associate an actor with one role so much that you have trouble seeing them in another role?
for instance, just watched an episode of Silk…. I’ve gotten used to seeing Rupert Penry-Jones in modern suits as a QC, but when in the same episode two actors show up taking parts in the drama and I associate them mainly with previous roles in adaptations of Jane Austen novels, it becomes quite surreal…. “ wait, Capt. Wentworth of “Persuasion” is defending George Wickham from “Pride and Prejudice” and the judge in the trial is Mr Darcy?!

ok I doubt many other minds run quite to that length of involvement in the stories (haha) but have you experienced this on a lesser scale?
