Do you ever sit down to watch your favorite tv show and everyone you know calls you?

This seems to happen more and more. It's almost bedtime for me. I sit down and get comfy in my recliner. I am ready to watch one of my favorite tv shows right before bedtime and my son calls. Sigh. We just get done talking and

Yup. My daughter sends a text. Hmm. I often wonder if they plan this, but they don't. It just happens. Texting with the daughter takes longer than talking with my son. She sends cute pictures of her granddaughter and her dogs. I have to comment on them all.

That leaves only one child who can use a phone, and yup, J calls. Usually a small crisis, or question, or something that I have to fix. (Very rarely does T call, he's very hard to understand on the phone.). By this time, shows over. Bedtime.

Its a good thing I record my shows. Lol.

Nightmare! But these days you can press pause...a good tip anyway because if you do that for twenty minutes you can fast forward the ads.

That happens to me almost every time I sit down..it's become a running joke in this house...

I don't watch too much TV, but you can bet your sweet bottom dollar , that in the evening, regardless of what time it might be.. I'll just get settled down, and the phone will ring..or there'll be a text or whatsapp that needs attention... ..every time !!!!

Fortunately I record everything I watch, so although it disturbs me as I settle to watch one show, I don't miss any of it..

I rarely receive calls doing most correspondence online but, if it should happen and it's not important, it goes to answerphone and I call them back later

I am on call 24/7. With two boys in seperate group homes, and three great grandchildren if one of my children calls I answer. I just don't understand how I can be on the phone with the other, while one is texting me, and another calling. And there is no ER. I tape my shows, but always forget to press the pause button. I did mention I'm forgetful. Lol.

Of course, during Emergencies, everyone is trying to get hold of everyone else.
