Do You Get Enough Sleep?

I know what time I go to bed and how long I stay in bed but really have no idea how much time was spent sleeping. Much of the time in bed it seems like I wake up a lot and am aware of everything. I would like to go to bed & go to sleep for six to eight hours and know it. Some mornings like yesterday I felt like I had NO sleep the night before. This morning I feel fairly good so I must have got some sleep time in, because I was in bed for nine hours.

I'll get enough sleep! I go to bed at the same time each night,I usually read a little bit( about one hour) then I put my lights out and my radio on.I'll listen to my favourite music, all night. It makes me feel good, keeps all my dark thoughts away and it doesn't disturb me,if I've to get out of bed sometimes.I'll wake up every morning at the same time and I'm happy to be still alive:)

I don't think that there are many of us in our eighties that sleep 6 or 8 hours without
getting up once, twice, or in my case, several times during the night. Sometimes
I go right back to sleep, other times it takes me a long time, or I get up, have some
juice and look out the window for 15 or 20 minutes, then I can usually go back to sleep.
If I have several bad nights I will take melatonin and that helps me to relax and stops
the brain from going around in circles.
