If so why ?:giggle:
I don't have a particular fave day..altho' I've always liked Saturdays... but I do have a day I despise which is Monday...not for any particular reason, but most likely just stemming from school and work days

As a kid, Saturday was my favorite day because of the cartoons. I don't think I really have a favorite one now. I do like any day that we have no appointments that we need to be at, so it's open for us to do what ever we want or feel like.

Wednesday is not my favorite day, but it's the day I'm glad it's over. I have the rest of the week to play. On Wednesday, I change and wash the sheets. And do other laundry. I take out the trash. Then I put all my drugs into next week's pill organizer. And if I need to pick up drugs at the pharmacy, I'll do my weekly food shopping.
That's why I'm glad Wednesday is over.

(BTW, why is it I can never spell Wednesday correctly-Wendsday?. And who says "wed ness day"? It's 'wends day".) 🤔

Mine used to be Winter Solstice... day in the year with the shortest daylight. Because we used to host a big gathering in the evening, with up to 35 friends. We prepared finger food, and most guests brought some to contribute, including maybe some wine or beer. We'd spend time with some whom we hadn't seen much of during the year, chat, joke, sing.

Covid put a stop to that. We did adopt a substitute socializing method, though.

you have difficulty because it's spelled badly isn't it ?.. as you say..it really should be Wensday

however...

the name Wednesday actually derives from two mighty but distinct gods. The Old English word for Wednesday indicates that the day was named for the Germanic god Woden. In Romance languages, the name is derived from the Roman god Mercury. (For example, Wednesday is mercredi in French and miercuri in Romanian.)

The gods Woden (also known as Odin) and Mercury have been associated since Scandinavian and Roman cultures crossed paths. Under Woden’s supervision, the earth and sky were created from the dead body of a giant named Ymir. Woden also created the first man and woman from an ash tree and an alder. As if fashioning the human race wasn’t enough, Woden also established the laws of the universe.

Most definitely I do... it's tomorrow, then the day after that and the day after that.... and probably another 50,000 after that. 😊

An interesting topic in itself. ☺️
