Here I am 82 years old with Geriatric Acne caused so my Dermatologist tells me is a side issue to having Rheumatoid Arthritis. RA affects the immune system and makes you susceptible to a variety of other conditions. My face might look like a teenager now and it's too bad the rest of the body doesn' follow suit.

Menopause makes your skin go wacky as well. Oxy pads in the black jar, every morning and every night. Oh and Oil of Olay under your eyes:cool:

I have some acne but not on my face. Not sure how to get rid of it.

Have they told you of any ways to get rid of it Lon?

No, I never suffered from Acne at any time of my life. Perhaps the odd isolated one, but that's all. My brother made up for that by being very spotty as a teenager. "Plooky" as we would say in Scotland.

Have any of you considered the connection between the dairy you drink or use and the state of your skin and joints? A visit to Dr. Google suggests that it might make a big difference.

I'll get a big pimple on my chinny chin chin occasionally. Shaving can cause it or too many cashews and choclolate. Its quite disturbing at my age.
