Do you have less or more stress?

In your mature older age, do you find you have more or less stress in your life?

Less Stress - About 12 years ago at the age of 47, I went through a very stressful period in my life. Hubby and I separated (close to divorce) among other things. But I am sooooo much better. After 3 years of separation, hubby and I got back together and our relationship is MUCH better. I refuse to allow anyone to bring unnecessary stress in my life. I have learned to cope with stress that comes my way. Once you have been down so low and then you manage to get back up stronger - you will refuse to be down again, especially at the age I am now. I am aging GRACEFULLY!!!!

Good outlook! Happy you and hubs are back together.

Less stress since I retired around ten years ago.

So late in evening for repairman...using ceramic and quartz heater..buildinga fire in the fireplace.
Bingo, is there a neighbor you can have come over and check it out, it might be something simple that you overlooked? Take care and stay warm! ❤

I think I just get stressed about different things. Having no real issues (touch wood) I find I'm getting 'wound up' over things that I can't control or that don't affect me. If I could just ignore these things, I'm sure that things would be better.

That reminds me that in work, we used to use the acronym "SEP" which stood for "Someone Else's Problem" .

I feel much less stress now that I have been retired for the last 19 years. I used to be in education. Now, that is stress. Dealing with kids, parents, principals & tons of homework. Also much less stress when the house was sold & we now live in a nice apartment. Don't have cable so that is another stress factor gone. Don't have smartphone so that is another stress factor less. Don't watch garbage, violent movies so that is rather less stressful too. Hey, I feel just one of those contented Carnation Milk cows........... so contented!

I am aging Disgracefully. More stress. Most people I love are dead. Loneliness and isolation are not just stressful, but IMO can lead to physical problems, which I have, and some have been life-threatening.

I am not having a good time. I am doing the best I can. I do laugh a lot, as I find most things ridiculous, even me.

You have got to get out. Even a daily walk outside to meet the local doggie walkers will cheer you up. Soon you will get to know the names of all the dogs in the neighbourhood. Trust me! I know because I do the same. I even keep little doggie treats in my pockets to get their tails wagging like crazy.

Less stress. In a blessed place at the moment. Love my part-time job, and have great family, no financial worries because I like living frugally other than a little travel which I do as cheaply as possible. My parents are in better health than I am, but I do realize that will change someday. I'm pursuing my hobbies, taking the news in small doses and enjoying this season in life knowing that it won't always be this way.
