Do you press it?

Sure.
Not to be too over-analytical about it, but there's a 30% chance of that random hour being asleep, and another fair portion of things I would just as soon forget anyway, and a lot of the rest just doing mundane things like working, watching TV, doing chores, or worrying about things I have no control over, so the odds are extremely high I have forgotten that hour anyway.

You’re offered a button that gives you $10,000 but erases one random hour of your life. Do you press it? Why or why not?
Absolutely not. If I'd get to choose the hour, then yes. But random? No way... it could take a very precious memory from me, and I'd not take that risk... it doesn't matter what the "chances" would be. Not for any amount of money.

This is the problem with hypotheticals like this--they are usually sketchy on details. As it is stated i'd say NO. See i'd have questions.

Offered this by WHOM? Makes a big difference! Because a lot of folks out there, including random strangers who i wouldn't even trust to answer the questions honestly.
What guarantee would anyone have that the bartered hour would be genuinely random? As @Oldeagle66 pointed out they could take the hour you were to get the money, or for that matter the one in which you press the button.
How/when would the $ be delivered to those who push the button????

nah. It's so hard to make decisions...yes, no, maybe, could i exchange the money for a new craft room, do i have to report it to the IRS if i press it? Will my hubby find out because he'd probably want me to share the money with him and then spend his share on ice cream. So my answer is no. Regardless of that random hour I'd lose. We could talk about it though. It's up to you. You decide...

I've been losing random hours-worth of memories for free for about a decade.

Where do I sign up? (quick, before they're all gone)
Do you press it?
Joking aside, No
Why or why not?
Because it sounds creepy.

Thinking about it, though, those hours aren't doing anything for anyone.

But wait wait wait....are you talking about erasing the memory of some random hour, or wiping out the actual hour...meaning, everything that happened during that hour? Because I wouldn't sell any of those for any amount.

Yeah, this is a scam, guys, don't fall for it. Probably some creep looking to steal our few thrills.

Sometimes I watch shows like "Let's Make A Deal" purely for entertainment if nothing else of interest is on, but I'm no gambler by choice at all. Just the day-to-day risks and chances life throws us are enough for me.
