Do you remember this when it came out?

I remember that. IMO, it was a great way to draw attention to how life was on US Indian reservations. Not much good came of it, though. It improved communication, but it didn't improve understanding (on either side).
It was terrific to listen to. I recall it coming and going and not much else like it again.

Major earworm.

I got this from an article in today's Oregonian (Portland). The guy's house in NE PDX is being put on the historical register.

I'll go first: I liked it then and I like it now. It stands out.
I remember it, loved it! Almost memorized the lyrics as best as I could understand them. I haven't thought of this in a long time, so to hear it today is just lovely 🌹
