Ditto. That was invented by organized religion to control people's behavior by scaring them.

That applies to most of the Christian teaching. Others decided what we should believe. It is up to us to think for ourselves and come to our own conclusions.
For instance, the stance of the Catholic church on birth control is a complete mis-understanding. So many un-wanted babies have been born into a life of misery because of the mis-guided beliefs of some old man who has never been married.

Same here. And I don't want to be eternally separated from God.

Being an atheist, I don't believe in "hell". I have noticed that there is a lowbrow version of hell, and a "sophisticated" version of hell. The lowbrow version is Satan, devils, fire, heat, physical torment, etc. The sophisticated, or "cerebral" version is eternal separation from God..
