I buy one card each year to mail to an old Navy shipmate who sends me a card every Christmas without fail. Once I bought a box of cards at year end closeout not knowing the cards in the box were all the same. After about five years he asked me to buy some different ones because he was getting tired of the same card.

I stopped about 10 years ago. I was sending cards to people I hadn't seen in 40 years, because I got a card from them. Plus, today, I can call Alaska, Texas, or Maine, and it doesn't cost an extra cent. Not like in the old days with expensive "long distance" calls.

Yes only to my family members and neighbours...... otherwise I don't send cards through the post now.. I only use electronic services like Moonpig..

Yes, I do. I still rec've many also.
Last year I sent about 3 out to some really close friends of my roaring fire in my fireplace with my feet showing, as I was sitting cross legged in front of it.

..trouble is, by the time you pay for the card, and then 95p for every stamp it gets to be expensive...

My Canuk bud hand writes actual letters and cards
Always entertaining and hilarious
I've saved ever one
And I make my own cards

I don't even send cards anymore. I gradually sent fewer and fewer when I started receiving fewer.

I have not sent out Christmas cards in many years. I do have boxes of cards to contain the multiple Christmas tips for building staff, delivery people, other service people.
Just a few. Some old friends still send Xmas cards, so I send one in return. And for the people I give a cash gift to every year, (cleaning crew at my building, newspaper delivery guy, etc.) Otherwise, no. My family gets an annual calendar of family photos that I make using shutterfly.com . Have been doing that for years. We keep the calendars; better than a photo album.

I only post one (to my sister) and deliver ones to the neighbours by hand. I stick to cards with secular themes.

Yes, I send out about 20 to family and friends. I buy my stamps at Costco by the roll and my Christmas cards after boxing day.

Yup, still do but it's down to less than 20.
Just as expensive buying cards and the price of stamps now…..not a lot of difference really holly
