I do, it's so sad really, as a pastime.
Like do you know what an aglet is? The plastic bits on the ends of laces.
As I read or watçh TV, I try to memorise things so that I can show off when watching quiz programmes.
I don't do too well though, my husband is far better than I am at apparently effortlessly retaining information. My history and geography are woefully poor. Useless at maths. Despite reading a lot, I don't even do well at literature.
Do you do well on general knowledge?
How do those young things in University Challenge know so much? They have not surely lived long enough!
