Yes fuzzybuddy, you are correct. Hugs are happening more frequently. In fact, right now, this very cold winter night, I personally witnessed someone hug a complete stranger, just for being so kind and helpful. You see it is snowing heavily here in the high desert mountains, and motorists are stranded. In this small town, people come out of their homes with snowblowers and shovels, to help stranded motorists, or anyone else who appears to require assistance for any reason. Like if you're cold or hungry, in danger, people here will help you. Such kindness does indeed warrant a warm heartfelt hug, I think. Or at the very least a friendly handshake, with or without mittens.
I think you'll find that, under certain extreme foul weather conditions, especially in remote rural regions such as this, people tend to hug much more often.
It's just how we express appreciation and affection, here in the cold winter mountains. Hugs are WHO we are. Hugs are WHAT we do. Don't like the hugs? You do not belong here.
Hugs or hit the highway buster :cheerful:
