Do You Use Laundry Fabric Softeners?

Both if I'm drying clothes inside. If I'm going to line dry, I use just liquid softener in the rinse cycle.

I thought about using a liquid but I read that they make your clothes flammable.
One time I was at a family gathering and a sister-in-law's sleeve caught fire when she reached across a centerpiece that had a couple votive candles lit.
Dont know for sure but I suspect it would've been due to fabric softener.
So I opted out of buying it.

3 or 2 depending on the load. My wife likes her clothing washed with the liquid so if my stuff is in there and/or I do her laundry I add the liquid. I almost always use dryer sheets. I do most of the laundry in our home but occasionally she'll do her own loads. I don't like her to wash my clothing as we have different methodology.

1/4 of a dryer sheet
This is what is I do. 1/2 to 1/4 sheet.
Once I ran out of unscented liquid softener I didn't replace it. Now I'm using up the scented sheets and then I won't replace them. I may continue the unscented sheets only on clothes. I've never used any on towels and sheets, only wool dryer balls. It takes the absorbency out of towels, so I'm told.
