Do You Wear a "Uniform?"

As I got closer to retirement I only bought clothes for work if I needed to and I made sure they were things I'd wear after retirement.
It's been a year now since retirement and I've "used down" most of my dressier work clothes and shoes. I've settled into my "uniform" of good jeans, nice tees, and button down shirts with the sleeves rolled up, sketcher walking shoes or flip flops.
I'm still using down some clothes but replacing with mainly this style.
Do you have a uniform?
 

In the past, I wore many "uniforms". I had my conductor's uniform when volunteering on a local tourist train. I had my flight suit and Class A uniform when volunteering and flying for Civil Air Patrol. I had a shirt and cap I wore when flying for Angel Flight West. I had my engineer's uniform when firing an1898 steam engine..
My present uniform is a pair of chinos and one of a number of t-shirts I purchased all over the world.
 

Do You Wear a "Uniform?​

I think we all wear a uniform in one way or another. Our clothes make a statement of what we are about. There are next to no clothing that is not worn by many groups of people. I wore jeans, black T shirts and engineers boot most of my life. I did not own a pair of tennis shoes or shorts until I hit sixty.
 
Not into clothes, shoes, jewelry. I wear jeans or leggings, usually plaid or plain shirts in the Summer and usually zip hoodies in the winter.
One pair of sandals in the Summer and one pair of Uggs in the Winter, a Levi jacket when it gets cold.
I like things plain and simple; nothing ornate or fancy. Guess that's sort of a uniform.
 
Since retiring, I prefer to "grab" whatever is clean and not worry about co-ordinating colours.

jeans (blue or black);
red or grey long or short sleeve t shirts or wool pullovers;
black sox; walking shoes or walking sandals in summer;
rain jacket
 
Half the year I wear shorts and the other half cargo pants. I have a very large number of t-shirts, mostly souvenirs from places I have been.
I have an assortment of neckties, but have not worn one in about 5 years and that was to a wedding. Around the condo I wear moccasin style slippers and when I go out I put on loafers. When I put the top down on the car, I wear a cap that I bought in Mexico.
 
Yes I do! Short sleeve plain tee shirts, bermuda shorts, sandals or walking shoes. When the temperature drops, I switch to long sleeve tee shirts, fleece, and pants!
Nothing fancy. I spend most of my time at home or in the garden. My city is very casual and I like to wear cotton in the heat.
 
I don't......at least I don't think I do because I have such a variety of Clothes that my every day dress for going out isn't really the same as the time before.. unless we're talking of jeans of course.. which I do wear a lot.. but all my Tops/jumpers/tops.. tend to be a little different than each other.. so as not to look like I'm wearing the same style all the time

That said.. I see my neighbours all wearing pretty much the same stuff.. the same coat when they go out ( I have several).. the same jeans the same style of trainers or shoes..

I suffer from Prosopagnosia which means I cannot recognise people's faces.. unless in my case ... I've seen them hundreds of times, and usually in the same place..so for example I will recognise someone working in a store I go to a lot, but I won't recgnise them when they're in the street.... but because my neighbours pretty much all wear the same things.. I know them instantly by their apparel...
 
For staying in my "uniform" is a tee shirt or a tank top and jammie bottoms. I often go barefoot inside or wear mules or tennis shoes. Very casual. For work it's casual too because it's physical so everything is spandex or stretchy. Going out is my treat so I go wild.
