I have had a few eating disorders in my life. I had anorexia and bulimia in my teens and early twenties. I cured it by myself.

I have been given a medication that is given for this disorder. It is not a diet pill although sometimes diet pills are given. They cannot give me diet pills due to other medicines I take. I feel more relaxed now and my eating has normalized over the past week. Knock on wood! I'm so afraid of this coming back. The doctor told me he will be increasing the medication on my next visit in 3 weeks. I had been gaining weight steadily for a long time and getting depressed at my inability to lose it. Believe me I have tried every diet out there and they all backfired on me because of the seriousness of this disorder going wild. My weight has gone down some now and I hope it will continue.
Does anyone else struggle with this? Also, I am not looking for any advice on how to lose weight.
