I just signed up for the internet service only. Verizon had a nice offer which they sweetened even more yesterday for Cyber Monday (CM), so glad I waited. Twice the mpbs I'm get with Optimum for $30 less. Add in the router rental it's another $15 but still $13 less than Optimum. With it I get a free subscription to Disney + for a year, free installation (online only) and for the CM special, a $100 prepaid Visa card.
Our complex was already wired for Fios about two years ago. I never thought I'd switch but I can't take Optimum anymore. Their prices keep rising and their internet (and hotspot) are sucky. I have a practically new router but I want to see if having Fios's router will make a difference in speed. If you have Fios for any services, please let me know how you like it. Mine is to be installed in a couple of days.
