Does Anyone Here Have Seasonal Allergies?

I have hay fever that usually acts up in the fall, I'm allergic to ragweed or weeds in general. My allergies have gotten much better than when I was a child. These past few years I've had allergy symptoms in the spring. I think a lot of it is due to very dry weather and high winds. I've taken an over the counter allergy pill twice already, and I don't like to take them very much, I try to avoid them. Not a big pill taker, they all have negative side effects whether over the counter or prescription.

Is anyone here experiencing early seasonal allergy conditions?
 

I have an allergy to pine tree pollen.

In rainy years it is not too bad and I just let it run its course.

If the weather is nice then I end up taking an over the counter product for a few days.
 
I'm dying right now. As a matter of fact, woke up with an ear ache this morning, possibly related to heavy sinus distress. will be seeing the dr this afternoon.
 

I have year round allergies, but, they do get worst at times of year related to seasons. I just had two scripts filled this week and was given a script for an allergist as well since things have gotten so bad related to foods and other substances.

Mine are year round too, worse in the Spring. Pine pollen, plus anything growing green. :shrug:

I hope the doctor was able to relieve your pain. I used to get a lot of earaches as a child, way back when my mother called the doctor and he came to our house. The earaches were very painful, and so was having them putting in the drops and yanking on my ears. :(
 
Two things work to clear up my ear aches, couple of drops of vinegar followed by drops of rubbing alcohol, or drops of peroxide followed by alcohol. Drops in for a few seconds followed by tilting head to let run back out. The alcohol mainly to dry up the vinegar/peroxide. I used to get terrible earaches, but, as soon as I feel a really bad itch that runs to the throat as well or painful ache in the ear coming on, that's my go to cure, hasn't failed me yet.

I went to Urgent Care this afternoon, I did indeed have an infection, so I got 10 days worth of antibiotics. I wanted to nip any infections in the bud, glad I went to Kaiser. :)

I hope they do the trick for you and I hope you're not in too much pain. Kaiser is my health provider too, been for over 30 years now.
 
I am allergic to several different types of pollen. Meaning that I suffer from April to September.I am used to the sneezing fits and things seem to get worse as I get older. Never suffered until my twenties.
 
Very bad pine tree pollen allergies. My back yard backs up to a drain Canal and beyond that, yep, pine trees. It only last for 4-5 weeks, but I have to arm myself with over the counter meds. Claritin, Flonase, Tylenol and Kleenex, lots and lots of Kleenex. :mad:

Mesquite Tree, Bermuda Grass,Johnson Grass..I have 4 acres of Bermuda Grass,Johnson Grass!!!
