Does anyone see anything wrong with this flag display?

This is a new photo. Under American flag etiquette and flag code, "In a group of state,
local and society flags, the American flag should be flown highest and in the center.
The size should be larger than other flags and in a position of prominence.

Would have been acceptable if the pride flag had been triangular, you know, like a pendent banner, and then the length/size wouldn't matter. So, it should have been a bit smaller.

If they'd have hung a smaller pride flag on either side of the American flag, they'd have gotten more bang for the buck, imo.

U.S. Flag Code §7. (e), which reads, "The flag of the United States of America should be at the center and at the highest point of the group when a number of flags of States or localities or pennants of societies are grouped and displayed from staffs."

This is the reason found fault and it is a real picture of the display the white house had up

They are not on a staff though?

And the defenders of this ludicrous (politest word I got) display pointed out that the U.S. flag flies over and atop the United States Capitol building (that's not the white house in the picture) and is therefore the highest flag on the building. The problem I have with that is that this is a separate display. Therefore, flag etiquette isn't being following IMHO

Sure looks like the South Portico to me, having seen it many times.

I see. A phony I think. The WH would not be hanging a Pride flag for any reason. Why?
Not a phony, very real. There are numerous photos and commentaries …

“The variant of the Pride flag seen in the photographs, known as the progress Pride flag, was indeed hung between two American flags at the White House during a Pride Month celebration on June 10, 2023. The flag includes black, brown, blue, pink, and white stripes on a traditional Pride flag to represent people of color, as well as the transgender community.”
