Does Anyone Wear Crocs for Gardening?

I just bought some all terrain crocs with the adjustable strap. I'm wearing them around the house to try them out.
The shoes I was wearing were not stable and they were old. My husband swears by crocs.
They are pretty comfortable, seem stable once I got the correct strap adjustment. They're for gardening so the look doesn't bother me.

Any thoughts?

I hate them,I think they're hideous , and I never found them comfortable ...otoh my daughter loves them and wouldn't dream of gardening in any other type of shoes. Even when she had the boarding kennels , she wore them all day for cleaning and washing out all the kennels...

When I was a kid, one year this lady down the street who was always nasty to the kids in the neighborhood sold these awful plastic shoes in a sort of Tupperware Party setting. Maybe they were dirt cheap. All I know is that a lot of us ended up in the hideous contraptions one Summer.

I can't remember them all, but one line of the lyrics of a song we came to use to taunt somebody as not only poor but helplessly awkward and pitiable went like "... and he/she's wearing Mrs. Messer shoes!"

That's what Crocs look like to me. :ROFLMAO:

It was funny in the store. Some covered with bling using the little fobs that fit in the holes. All kinds of decos!
I have seen some uglier shoes in the mall. They had tables full of them. They were similar in style to crocs but the tops were like many basketball halves. So ugly. I noticed there were many still there at the end of the season and on sale.

I'm going to keep these crocs for the garden only. I've been wearing them and they are comfortable. I like the vents, adjustable straps, ease of slipping them on, and clean ability. No one sees me gardening.
Call me Mrs. Messer if you like. ๐Ÿ˜Š And thanks for your input. ๐Ÿ‘

My husband & I don't like the looks so we weren't interested in them. With that being said, I had to buy him a pair because it was the only thing that would fit after he had to have a bandage that was too thick for a foot/leg injury & his regular shoe wouldn't fit. He could slide it on & off & it had some give.

They are totally ugly ! However, the walmart brand of Crocs is what I usually wear nowdays, simply because they are durable, comfortable, and so easy for me to put on and take off. Because of my heart failure, some days my feet are more swollen than others, and when my legs are swollen, my knees do not bend , so I shuffle along, and I need shoes that I can easily slip my feet into, and that will allow for swelling when I walk.
I seldom go anywhere that I need regular shoes, so the crocs are the ones I wear outside in the yard, too.

I saw a guy in Crocs last night at a folk music performance. Pretty much all of us in the audience are old crocks now, so if the "Foo s**ts, wear it."
