Does everything happen in their appointed time and space

Must all things be God's will or approval to happen? Perhaps all things according to God's plan? Some things interpreted as sin may not be a sin at all, but a lesson learned?

Predestination: The act of life traveling from A to B on a predetermined course of life. I don't know. Karma: The act of living in a certain manner that mirrors the future based on the credit former experiences.

Does God know all? God knows all as I know God to be.

There is an obvious difference between religion and spirituality. Spiritualty: connected with and to the spiritual world. Religion is made up of like-minded beleivers whose mission ist to promote and recruit members obedient to their teachings.

Religion is about making money to provide world and community services locally and throughout the world. Religion is not without fault because is a man made institution for social and godly reform.

it makes me so happy when souls seek the truth. All your reasonings have truth and validity.
Do you have ONE question? It would take books to answer all your questions. I love the way you are thinking!
Your thoughts reflect clear, correct and precise thinking!

We can only guess about these things. So here is my guess...

I believe that when God created our world as we know it, He set in motion the various laws of physics and whatnot, much of which science has yet to discover, and our world operates according to those laws.

Again, this is just my version of the Great What If, and should not be taken as anything more than that since I honestly don't have a clue. The thing I feel quite certain of (again, I BELIEVE rather than being able to truly know and prove) is that there is intelligent design. Having worked in technology a long enough time and having observed various aspects of life on our planet, it would be much more difficult for me to believe otherwise.

@Mr. Ed Yes, I believe God has a plan for each and everyone of us. But within that plan there are always choices, as He has granted us freedom to choose so there are many paths to chose from and many ways to mess up.

I think all religions have many flaws, as religions are man made and the human race is deeply flawed.

I sure don't know. I don't believe in the saying that everything happens for a reason and I don't believe in karma. I've seen too many people get by with too much.

When my 13 year old car was still very new, I had a hub cap stolen off it. I know it was, you could see the dirty hand print of the person over the wheel where they leaned on my car to get the hub cap off. I wanted it replaced and went to the dealership. The nice woman behind the counter stated "karma will get them" when I explained what I was 99.9% sure had happened. I replied "no it won't." As a very minor example.

Well, as a philosopher of reason and doubt, I am content with myself and what I believe to be true and false. With that said, I am notorious for prompting thought and conversation. I used to be a seeker until finding who I am and my place in the world in relationship to how the world sees me. I am whole, don't know if I am complete? Maybe completeness is simply knowing.

Ah, philosophy! Most intriging!
Absolute being, the truth of life, that which never changes.
We exist in the relative. Even THOUGHT is in the relative. When one understands the completeness of the absolute, one is grounded in the ultimate reality, absolute being. pure consciousness. God realization.
I believe many paths to this realization can be followed. i think the daily life can co-exist with the imperishable and permanent values of eternal life.
If you have gained this oneness of life by knowing the mysterys of nature, fulfilling the quests of the human mind, undersdtanding and experiencing the reality of life, Mr. Ed, you are truly an enlightened soul!

I forgot to say: IMO (Thanks Pepper!)

Very well stated. I like how you think.

My beliefs also. There is a basic plan for all of us but within that plan he / she offers us ‘unconditional love and free will.’ Life’s greatest gifts in my opinion. ❤️

God is me as I am Him. I understand life through God. I determine all thoughts and actions that occur within me. I am in control and choose what and how things affect me.

I mentioned having a sense of completeness earlier? Completeness is being sufficiently full of understanding that one no longer desires to learn and grow. I don't know everything, and for now it is sufficient.

I am content with life and my place in life.

Beautiful! I'm looking at you in a whole new way!

Life happens in its own time ....... we may just not know it.
Maybe what we thought should happen....... did not ..........and other items we never imagined gave us more perspective then we could ever see.

a quick story of a time i was very miserable in a job and it was spilling over my life as a whole ........ i was up at 3 am on a Tuesday said to god ....... "this is not working ...i am not learning whatever lesson i am being given in the current situation please ...show me a path "

...... by Thursday i was offered a new job i had just applied on a fluke to ............and through new people and new surroundings learned more about my personal growth......... in six months then i had struggled with for years ........
each time i feel lost or think i am looking for something .......it feels as if a person or situation evolves and gives me perspective.
As if it was the right time to meet someone or experience something.....

I'm a contrarian and don't believe there is any plan, timetable, intelligence or reason behind the universe. I do believe that others see things as happening in their appointed time and space because we humans tend to notice and see things and events that are evidence of what we believe. Our brains have evolved to be wired to notice patterns but the patterns we see are often ones that we think exist.

As a philosopher, I can only begin to start

When I ponder 'my place in the world' I believe it has little value - an insignificant being born to do nothing important, just a pleb among millions of plebs. :)

Oh NO, NO, NO! Moments of life are to be treasured. There is a higher and more blessed you than you show to the world. Be this higher self. Embrace your life and find joy in it. Each incarnation brings us closer to God and evolves us into higher perfection.

May I quote something from the Guru Dev?
"To get a human body is a rare thing. Make the most of it. There are four million kinds of lives a soul can gather. After that,a soul gets a chance to be human, to get a human body. Therefore, one should not waste this chance. Every second in human life is very valuable. If you don't value this, then you will have nothing in hand and you will weep in the end.
Because you are human, God has given you the power to think and decide what is good and bad. Therefore, you can do the best possible kind of action. You should never consider yourself weak or a fallen creature.

Whatever might have happened up to now may be because you didn't know, but now be careful. After getting a human body, if you don't reach God, you have sold a diamond at the price of spinach."

Mr.Ed, I didn't mean to take over your thread. I needed to tell her that.

Dear Gaer if indeed it was not to be (fill in the blank)

I guess you're thinking is more along the lines of chaos theory? IMO (Pepper) there is just too much order to dismiss it as chaos or happenchance. However, could chaos eventually become order?

Great discussion Mr. Ed

Here's a little tidbit. I have a mental illness and I thought it only right I donate my brain to Harvard Brain Institute when I die.

What if God's will was contrary to wishes of humanity? Can that really happen?
