Dog Owner Lets Dog Poop In Airport. Doesn't Clean Up. Social Media Hunt On

Me being a pilot for 34 years, I could claim any airport as my second home. Unfortunately, I never had much good to say about airports. I have found that if you are looking for the rudest people anywhere around, you need to look no further than an airport.

I don’t know which is worse, the people traveling on business or passengers that wear a backpack. Many (not all) business people look at themselves as the most important person in the airport, while the people that wear a backpack seem not to care if they turn around and strike someone in back of them with their satchel.

I remember being at Sky Harbor in Phoenix when a fellow wearing a backpack made a sudden turn and struck a small child pretty hard that was being held by his dad. The man went ballistic to the point that I thought he was going to take a swing at the guy. The backpacker did not apologize, so I took it upon myself to “ask” the backpacker to please apologize to the man, but he stood there and kind of chuckled at me. Just plain rude in my book.

No excuse for that, if I take my dog anywhere I have several bags on hand for clean up. If I was in an airport, I'd definitely be cleaning up after my dog immediately, as not to offend anyone. That doesn't even look like a service dog, can people bring their dogs to airports and on planes now with no certification or training? Odd the link is from the UK. :)

I agree Seabreeze. If you own a dog, you feed it and clean up the digested food that comes out the other end.
It isn’t anyone else’s responsibility and for people who don’t like doing that; they shouldn’t get a dog.
We live in the country and if my dogs go on somebody else’s lawn I carry poop bags with me and clean it up.
Everyone should do that but unfortunately not everyone does. There’s nothing like accidentally stepping in some other dogs poop.

This must be against some health law or other. It could lead to a disease of some kind. You can't spit on the sidewalk due to health laws, so this uncaring, rude little beast should be sentenced to some time cleaning out cages at a local dog pound, plus a monetary donation to an animal shelter.

And, repeating what has already been posted, several airports now have animal relief areas available.

I never really liked walking through the airport. Just too many rude people. Could it be that a lot of people think that they can act as they please because they probably will never see any of these people again? Hmmm......

This is an excellent idea RaddishRose. It’s so fitting

Hopefully the owner will be found and maybe assigned to work cleaning up airport floors for a few days. Just a thought...
