Dolly Parton's husband of almost 60 years passes away

Carl Dean passed away after almost 60 years of marriage. I love Dolly. She has proven again and again that she is one of the most philanthropic people on the planet. I wish her the best during this difficult time.

Today while in a store, I heard them playing Jolene. Not their usual background music. Obviously a Dolly fan was making the choices.

I've always liked Dolly and realized they must've loved each other very much. He supported her career and she respected that he was a very private person. She said he inspired her to write Jolene (about a bank teller who had a crush on her husband). I feel for her. May he R.I.P. and may she be comforted during this difficult time.
