Domestic Goddess's Coffee Jell-O Recipe

I've made this Coffee Jell-O numerous times and thoroughly enjoy it. Especially when topped with a generous amount of sweetened whip cream, such as Cool Whip or Reddi Wip.

Coffee Jell-O
😋

Prep Time: 5 Minutes
Cook Time: 8 Minutes
Cool and let set for at least 3 Hours in the refrigerator
Yields
: 4 (4-oz.) Servings
-

1/4 cup cold water

3 teaspoons unflavored gelatin powder

3 and 1/4 teaspoons of instant coffee (I use decaffeinated instant coffee)

2 cups of water

3 packets of saccharin sweetener, or 2 Tablespoons granulated sugar

Reddi Wip Original Whipped Topping Made with Real Cream

1.) For this recipe, place the 1/4 cup of cold water in a small bowl. Then add the 3 teaspoons of unflavored gelatin powder; stir well with a spoon, then set this aside for now.

2.) Now place the 2 cups of cold water in a small saucepan, over medium-high heat on top of the stove. Bring to a boil, then add the instant coffee granules and sugar; stir well with a spoon, then set this aside to cool for 15 minutes.

3.) Add the gelatin mixture to the coffee-sugar mixture, and stir thoroughly until it looks well combined.

4.) Now pour the coffee gelatin mixture into 4 individual serving bowls and place them in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours. Then top the coffee flavored gelatin with a generous amount of Cool Whip or Reddi Wip.

Here's an additional photo of Coffee Jell-O, displayed in a (4-oz.) serving size custard cup (a small bowl), topped with a generous amount of Reddi Wip Original Whipped Topping with Real Cream. (I normally don't top this gelatin with that generous amount of whipped topping, as seen in this photo, but the photo seemed to look more eye appealing when I did.
