It is a funny thing to watch what others buy at the grocery and see the cost. I know I look strange a lot. I shop when things are on sale and or loss leaders. You might catch me with cases of canned veggies, soup, chicken and beef broth. Boxes of cereals and oatmeal, mass quantities of bacon or sausage for the freezer. Baking goods, flour, yeast, sugars, chocolate chips, canned fruits. Most of the time things are dirt cheap in the late fall and winter for the holidays. I stock up to get me through a year. They are products that I use the whole year.

You really have to be on your toes when buying groceries. The prices vary so much, it does make you wonder why. Also, you have to beware how shops play around with prices. They will lower the price of something popular then, a couple of weeks later, put the price back up. Shoppers have to use psychology and not let themselves be taken for fools.
