If you aren't familiar with the name Tig Notaro is a comedian. But more than that she is a true inspiration for those of us who have looked at deep depression. A brief backstory...when she was starting out she almost died of a bacterial infection, followed by her mother's death, followed by a cancer diagnosis and double mastectomy. She realized she was fertile and tried and failed IVF before cancer treatments.

All that and she still managed to get on stage after stage and find material from her life. I just read that she and her wife are expecting twins through a surrogate. It does your heart good to read about someone who has seen heck and come back...She looks truly happy at last and her wife is lovely. Compare that to the Depp's...what went on in that house? Holy crap...The new People magazine, in stores now...

Yes, I like happy endings. I write them into my books...because life doesn't always provide them. Some of it means changing one's perspective.
