Hollywood screen legend,Doris Day is celebrating her 96th birthday today.
A couple favorite movies I've enjoyed over the years:

She received her Hollywood Walk of Fame Star in 1960

A silky smooth voice, singing and speaking, from a very perky actress. I always liked her, although I'd run and hide when my sister played "Possess Me," on our old hi-fi. I guess my kid brain had a feeling what that song was about, and it made me uncomfortable to hear it while my sister was there, with me. I was six, at the time.
