Dreaming About Work After Retiring?

I don't remember dreaming about work much, if any at all when I was still employed. Since I've retired, I'm dreaming about work more often now. They're not bad dreams and it may sound nuts but it's nice to see the guys again. Maybe that's it, I miss the seeing the guys. I know I don't miss the work, I really love retirement and the slow pace these days.

After you retired did you seem to dream more about your old job?

Yes. It's been twelve years and I still do. At one place I spent 35 yrs so yes, I have met many people through the years. Some I miss and others, not so much. I wonder how much has changed during the time since I left. When I left I had spent over half my life working for that company so I guess dreaming about it isn't so strange. My reoccurring dream is that I return as a contract employee and have difficulty getting through the secure gates.

I dream about work, too. I'm always trying to meet a deadline I can't quite meet.

8 years for me....Still working hard (in my dreams!!)..
