The infamous drug king pin of the 1980s Pablo Escobar literally made enough money to burn sometimes burning it to keep warm on the run. His empire had so much cash hidden/stored that it was assumed so much they lost about $2.1million per month eaten/damaged by rats, mold or water. His illegal drug trade empire at it's peak was making upwards of 1/2 billion dollars a week. His rubber band bill was $2,500 a month. At one point he accounted for 80% of the worlds cocaine supply and delivered about 15 tons of cocaine to the US per day.

It's easy to see that if rodents could find the money for potential food that drug dogs found enough drugs & money for evidence and his eventual take down. What became of that unfound money???

That rubber band number is astonishing. No wonder the dollar stores started selling them in bulk. He kept an entire industry alive.
