Before you know it to have a drink at a bar there will be paperwork and a breathalyzer which can and will be used against you sometime soon.
This scenario is not all that uncommon. Around here had a holiday visitor got trashed and wound up in water although remains found weeks later. In the meantime half the public wants the bar's head on a platter because he was supposedly fall down drunk(limited video never showed that) and the victim's family should sue the bar & his drinking buddies for letting him leave/get tossed out from the bar alone, as an individual. The bar was also under fire for lack of OUTSIDE camera's because the family was upset they couldn't even determine which direction he walked after the leaving.
This why I can't stand hypothetical scenarios, "what if", "they should have", "they could have" but the same questions or "what ifs" also apply to the so called victim. "what if" they didn't drink until they were fall down drunk, "they should have" stopped drinking earlier or "they could have" called for a cab.
Hate to say it but sometimes stuff happens and there ain't a darn thing you can do about or "good" that will come out of it.
