Has anyone had Dupuytren's Contracture....a condition where the fingers curl inward due to a buildup of some stuff on the tendons, etc?. If so, did you have surgery, or Xiaflex injections, and how did either work out. I've got this on the 4th and 5th fingers of the Right Hand, and I have to be careful when rinsing my face so I don't poke myself in the eye. It started 3 or 4 years ago, and hasn't worsened in the past year, but I am thinking about going to a hand surgeon and getting this fixed. There is a lot of info on the Internet, and the treatments with Xiaflex can be quite expensive, and the surgery has all the normal risks with recovery time, infection possibilities, etc., etc. If I decide to get this done, I would like to do it soon, before Spring arrives, so I can resume my outdoor activities with minimal interruption. Any and all experiences, opinions, etc., welcomed.
