I was told this is fake news: Country singer Dwight Yoakam died this October from cancer. I'm not a huge country music fan, but this is one of my favorite songs of his:

This is one of those fake death notices that are all over social media. (In fact, he's playing tonight at Bozeman, Montana.)

I saw all the death notices on YouTube and thought it was real. Sorry for distributing false information. (Glad I was wrong though.)

I'm glad, too... I've always liked his music. I really don't know why the places that do that aren't closed down... there are a few places doing it now! In fact, when Tony Dow really did die, I thought it was one of these fakes. Thanks for the video... enjoyed watching it again. (y)
