Eagles fight over a fish

I was watching a nature documentary and it showed a bunch of eagles fighting over a salmon one of them had caught in a nearby river. It seemed to me they spent a lot of effort and trouble trying to get it away from the possessor when the could grab one for themselves, especially when the salmon were abundant during the spawning time. Kind of like people, isn't it?
