A pretty large earthquake hit Taiwan over 6. At least 14 killed, many others injured or trapped. Buildings collapsed or toppled.

Drone footage and photos are amazing and shocking. There are still over 150 people missing. The death toll of 14 is sure to go up, sadly.

Sadly fatalities have more than doubled. There is a chance with the missing.

After looking at the pictures of collapses or fallen buildings the actual buildings seemed relatively complete but were incorrectly built at or near the foundation. Still too early to tell.

Shoddy construction could be at least one reason several buildings collapsed. Photos circulating showing oil cans as filler in beams and pillars of collapsed buildings.
