Earthquakes and Global Warming

Another strange thought, that I have!

Could the warming of the atmosphere cause the air that we breathe to
get lighter, this in turn taking pressure off the surface of the Planet, like
loosening a belt, the result being that there is less restriction in plates,
"Tectonic" ones, to move?

These last 2 earthquakes, in Turkey and Morocco, have happened in hot
countries, where the air is already hot and dry, humidity that would add
weight to the atmosphere, is already missing, all adding to less atmospheric
pressure at "Sea Level", here it is 14 pounds per square inch.

Mike.

Carbon dioxide is heavier than oxygen so pressure on the Earth should increase. Scientists have predicted much of the effects of global warming, but hardly all of them. I'm continually surprised by unexpected results that create feedback loops that are speeding up the process, like thawing of the tundra. I've wondered about earthquakes, but haven't read that in the predictions. I would think 200 feet of sea level rise would be far more important than heavier air when it comes to earthquakes.
