I've been seeing this ad on TV lately for this light upright walker. I'm still able to go out for walks with no problems, but there may come a day when I need to use a cane or a walker. I saved a couple of canes and one walker (and a wheelchair) from the ones we bought for my in-laws when they became elderly and sickly. So I have a walker on hand if I need it, but it is the kind where you have to bend in order to use it.

I know this walker must be very expensive, not sure of the price or if insurance would cover some of the expense, but it seems like a more modern version of getting around whether in the house or outdoors. Anyone here have one of these?

I remember the previous version of the Upwalker was around $600.00 & it was much heavier than the current version. I don't need it but I recommended it to a friend who has Cerebral Palsy.
