actor,Peter Fonda died yesterday of respiratory failure due to his lung cancer,he was 79
His best known movie was'Easy Rider' '68 which he co-wrote,produced and starred with,Dennis Hopper{who directed movie},Jack Nicholson.
He received glowing reviews for his role in"Ulee's Gold' '97. He played a Northern Fla beekeeper who tries to steer his son and grand daughter from a life of drug abuse. He won a Golden Globe award for his performance,was nominated for an Academy Award
He is survived by his son and daughter,Bridget an actress,and his older sister Jane
