Here's a really easy way to get a drawstring back into the waist of sweatpants, the hood of sweatshirts, etc. We've had to do this in the past using a wire assist and it's always a hassle. My husband just had the string come out of his new sweats, so I thought I'd look online for the easiest way to re-thread it.
Came across this video, and in my case I just used an old Bic pen that was straight and simple. Took it apart, put a knot at the narrower end (where the ink tip came out) and made sure it was large enough not to go into the pen opening. Pushing the pen part through was super easy and fast. :thumbsup1:
