2020 is shaping up to be the worst year for our economy in decades....possibly reaching levels not seen since the collapse in 1929-1930. Unemployment numbers continue to rise, and there is a real possibility of this virus forcing another shutdown in several states. The government cannot continue to supply these "stimulus" checks, without risking problems due to out of control Deficit Spending. Many companies, especially those related to travel/tourism may not survive much longer. The number of retail stores closing continues to climb. The stock markets have recovered much of their Feb/March losses, but that is due to little other than "speculation", and may be setting up for an even steeper decline in the not too distant future.
It's becoming difficult to find any "positives" this year.
