Edward Snowden Given Permission to Stay in Russia for Three More Years

Let the Russians keep him.

Should he wish to return to the USA, he must undergo a THOROUGH vetting.
 

I think he is a cowardly traitorous thief. Not even worth sending a covert operative to off him, which would just make him a martyr. & now he is a willing toy puppet of Russians to save his miserable skin. Pretty ironic that he takes refuge with the most secretive govt.

I'm glad he did what he did. Because of him we know so much more about the wrong doings of our government. If Snowden is a crook and a traiter, then our government is a so much bigger traiter and crooked to the core, both parties. Of course the government can declare their spying on their citizens and friendly governments to be legal. I fault both Bush and Obama and the Congress, who only pay attention to the Constitution when it's to their advantage.
 
I am not for people such as Snowden, but it seems that without his sort, we would stay in the dark. A person doesn't seem to be able to survive in this country, and out the wrong doings of our government. :hide:
 
I totally agree with you drifter! And to add to the 'scariness', too many people don't understand the depths of depravity that our governments are willing to sink to in the drive to meet their agendas. I think governments are willing to lie, cheat and steal and ignore the pain that all of that causes the ordinary man. We are expendable and replaceable.
