PS...To admin..site page's sometimes load very slow on a fast 60 M cable or 100M FIOS.
New user default profiles has dozens of nagging notifications and emails subs ON. Suggest that profile/ reg have a single box to turn ALL nags, notifications, emails off, or default off not on.
Je vous souhaite une bonne journée

(I wish to you a good day)

HI.
In the early 1980's my new career in electronics lead me to a company developing broadband digital. However their choice was AM rather than FM plus not enough brain power to see other electronic technology.
Another company was digital TV again in the 80's. I saw the last of the discretes and first large scale programables. Then it really became complicated in Automated Test equipment.
You are lucky to have such a long career in hardware.

welcome to Senior forums!

Hi Jean-Paul,

Two things: First, I don't find the site slow at all. I'm on a 240Mbps cable connection, but I'm also in the U.S.

Secondly, this forum is run on XenForo software (as shown in the page footers). My point is that, so far as I know, it's not custom software written by or for SeniorForums. Not sure if there are any extensions/additions that would make your single checkbox scenario a reality.

Also not sure what you mean by "dozens of nagging notifications" — I only get updates on additions to threads I'm subscribed to.

Sorry all fine, was my iPad browsers too many tabs....and Tweaked the seniors forum settings,
Very fine forum, many thanks

Jon
