The Tesla CEO has seen his wealth tumble in recent weeks after shares of the electric car maker tumbled. Elon Musk was the second person ever to amass a personal fortune of more than $200 billion, breaching that threshold in January 2021, months after Jeff Bezos.

The Tesla Inc. chief executive officer has now achieved a first of his own: becoming the only person in history to erase $200 billion from their net worth.

Musk's recent antics have alienated liberals, who are Tesla's biggest fans. Or were. It doesn't seem like a good business decision.

Unfortunately when the Tesla stock price drops it isn't only Musk that sees his net worth drop. Probably a lot of stress now for the investors, and anyone even in index funds probably hurt by his apparent charge into megalomania.
I really don't understand why he wanted the Twitter employees to work crazy long hours. It made some sense at Tesla where the engineers presumably were invested in the goal and striving to reach it. But, Twitter, gee, how is that anything to feel such passion for that a person would want to give up all their own time for it.
